Important Science Symposium NOTICE!
Help is available Fridays 2-3:30pm
This weekend I will formally approve all completely thought out projects. The project will be described on the proposal form (see the document below). This way I know that students are clear on exactly what they need to do. If they have identified their variables correctly all other steps should flow smoothly. It is essential that the student is working on the project daily in order to meet the project deadline. Researching the key words and background information, thinking through their procedure and rounding up materials. Any student who was unable to identify an experiment to conduct was given an experiment to modify to use for their project. They received a photocopy of the experiment to keep and begin working on at home. Students should be conducting experiments beginning next week.
The DUE date for the finished project to be brought to school is Monday, February 6, 2012.
Presentations will also begin on that date.
